The Standard
A generous double room with garden-facing windows, a writing nook, and everything you need to settle in for a few days.
Tucked into the calm of Gasabo, The Court is a small, considered hotel built for slow mornings, long conversations, and the warm hospitality Rwanda is loved for.
"Warm, beautifully kept, and run by the kindest team in Kigali."
The Court Boutique is a family-run sanctuary in the heart of Gasabo, the green and gently rolling district that gives Kigali its quiet rhythm. Our rooms are spacious, our garden is yours, and our kitchen leans on the best of Rwandan produce — strong coffee from Nyamasheke, honey from the Northern Province, banana leaves still warm from the market.
Whether you're here for the gorillas of Volcanoes, a stopover before Akagera, or a meeting in the city centre ten minutes away — we've built a place that lets you arrive, exhale, and stay a little longer than you planned.
Every room is built around natural light, deep beds, and the quiet comfort of locally crafted detail — woven baskets, hand-thrown ceramics, linens spun in the East African highlands.
A generous double room with garden-facing windows, a writing nook, and everything you need to settle in for a few days.
Our most-loved room. Step out onto a private balcony with views of Kigali's hills — best at sunrise with a cup of strong Rwandan coffee.
A two-room sanctuary on the top floor with a sitting area, soaking tub, and the widest view we have of the city below.
Breakfast on the terrace until eleven. A short, seasonal dinner menu that draws from the Kimironko market and the chef's grandmother's notebook. Mostly Rwandan, occasionally elsewhere, always honest.
Eight hundred square metres of jacaranda, frangipani, and slow afternoons. There's a pool, a quiet corner for reading, and a firepit that comes alive most evenings after sunset.
Gorilla treks in Volcanoes. A day with the lions of Akagera. The Kigali Genocide Memorial, with someone who can sit with you afterwards. We help you see Rwanda well, not just quickly.
We're a ten-minute drive from the centre of Kigali, in a quiet pocket of Gasabo where the streets are lined with avocado trees and the evenings are filled with the sound of weaver birds.
It's close enough that meetings in the CBD are easy, and far enough that you'll sleep through the night.
